James Ford and Jas Shaw met in the late ‘90s whilst studying in Manchester. When touring with their band Simian, they booked DJ dates to satisfy their electro itch, coining the name Simian Mobile Disco as a joke. Soon they were booked to play everywhere from the Club NME Tour to Fabric. They have remixed their 2007 release ‘Attack Decay Sustain Release,’ which is released on the 28th July. Having just returned from their tour in the US and Japan, they are set to play Reading,
Leeds and Creamfields.
